Dedicated to the memory of Dawn Fowler
This site is a tribute to Dawn. Dawn was a much loved Wife, Mother, Grandma and Sister who will be greatly missed. She touched so many peoples lives and had many talents, interests and hobbies from crafts, archery, gardening, cooking, painting entertaining, a talented artist, a love for the environment, animals and so much more.
Please feel free to add pictures, music and thoughts to this page so we can keep memories of Dawn alive especially for her grandchildren who can hopefully see this page when they are older and learn how she was such a wonderful, inspirational person.

Thoughts
I worked with Dawn at the Cranfield Biotechnology Centre from 1982 until I left in 1987. She sparkled like a diamond amongst those rough, uncouth scientists. She, along with Ned (Ashby), kept us sane throughout the insanity of those early years. Rest in peace, Dawn. With our love, Dave and Wendy Best.

Where to start? Dawn was one of the first people I met when I started at Cranfield over 30 years ago. I last spoke to her during lockdown and she very kindly sent me her old stamp album fro when she was a youngster as she saw me post about sorting through stamps when stuck in the house. My favourite story though was about when Frank Taylor and Bill Aston house sat for her while she was away. She told them to feel free to help themselves to any food that was in the freezer. The were delighted to find some meat labelled "Stanley". Frank knew that was the name of one of Dawn's goats, so "Stanley Curry" became famous.
I'll miss you, Dawn. You were one of the good 'uns.
